SwissKirschCulture is an independent, non-commercial resource dedicated to documenting the culture, history, and craft of Swiss spirits and beer traditions.

What This Site Is
SwissKirschCulture was created to fill a gap in English-language coverage of Swiss alcohol heritage. While much has been written about Swiss wine and international spirits categories, the local distillation tradition — centred on Kirschwasser, pear eau-de-vie, and alpine schnapps — remains largely undocumented outside German-language sources.
This site contains no commercial activity. There is nothing to purchase here. There are no affiliated products, no sponsored content, and no brand relationships of any kind. All content is produced independently and is intended solely to inform.
Information is presented for adults aged 18 and over. We do not encourage excessive consumption of alcohol and we do not present drinking as a recreational activity for its own sake. Our focus is cultural, historical, and educational.
